Sept. 12, 2016: The members of Sacred Heart of Jesus ward celebrated ‘Monthi Festh’ at the residence of Ms Grace Lasrado, the ward leader. Parish Priest Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, Ast Parish Priest Rev. Fr Johnson L Sequeira were present. Mrs Rose D’Souza conducted the prayer service. Ward members offered flowers to Infant Mary. Novem blessed by the Parish Priest, mixed with Payasam was served to all the members. Girl children as well as women were honoured as Monthi Festh highlights the importance of Girl Child and Women. Teachers of the ward were also felicitated on account of ‘Teachers’ Day’. Jossy D’Souza and Joshika were wished on account of their birthdays. Winners of inter ward quiz and Savin D’Souza, who was placed first in the Diocesan CAP Quiz were honoured. Various lucky games were conducted and prizes were distributed. Mr Alwyn Pinto proposed vote of Thanks. Vinola D’Souza compeered the programme.
