Sept. 11, 2016: The second part of the Parishioners’ Get together began with the prayer service led by Sisters of Annunciation Convent, Lady Hill. Mr Hilary D’Souza, Vice President welcomed the gathering. The variety entertainment programme consisted of Orchestra by the Children, Singing from the members of Choir (Children, Konkani, and English), Dances by Anisha and Olivia, Group Dance by Children and ICYM, Mime by YCS, Jokes by Cletus Lobo and Group, Melwin Cutinha and Group and a hilarious short play “Tube Light” by Cletus Lobo and Group. Melanie, Nathan and Dion compeered the cultural programme beautifully.
Cultural programme was followed by a short stage programme. Rev Fr Stany Pereira, Parish Priest appreciated the parishioners for making the day successful one and thereby making the Parish Community a lively one. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various lucky games. Mrs Jeneview Mathias, Secretary proposed vote of thanks. Thereafter, Parish Clergy along with all ward leaders and children offered flowers to Mother Mary and then new corn was added to the Payasam and blessed by parish Priest. The mega event concluded with serving the delicious Payasam to all. Mrs Jeneview Martis compeered the programme.
