Sept. 18, 2016: The nativity of Mother Mary “Monthi Festh” was celebrated in various wards along with the ward members. A short report of it is given below
Guardian Angel Ward: Ward members celebrated the feast on 13th of September at the residence of Philomena Cutinha. Parish Clergy along with the ward leaders and others offered flowers to Infant Mary and received the blessed Novem
Holy Cross Ward: On Sept 18, the members celebrated their ward day and Monthi Festh at the basement hall of the Priests’ Residence. Elders as well as children gathered together to thank Mother Mary for her benevolence.
Vailankanni Ward: The members of the ward gathered in large numbers at the residence of Mr Joachim Patrao on Sept 18. Flowers were offered, a few lucky games based on the life of Mother Mary were conducted.
Pompei Ward: The feast was celebrated at the residence of Mrs Vinita Monteiro. The Novem was served to all after the Small Christian Community prayer Service.
Holy Family Ward: The nativity of Mother Mary was celebrated at the residence of Mrs Ivy Sequeira. Prayers as well as flowers were offered to Mother Mary.
