Exposure Programme-2024
On February 9, 2024, members of the Secular Franciscan Third Order attended a one-day exposure program at Karunalaya Ashram. Area Council President Brother Dennis Fernandes and 30 members from Urwa SFO participated in the visit. Urwa SFO Secretary Sr. Flossy Lasrado welcomed the inmates and staff of the Ashram. A short program and spot games were conducted by our members. We donated provision items and a cash contribution of Rupees 10,000 to the Ashram. Additionally, some members made personal contributions to the Ashram. The secretary delivered the vote of thanks. We shared breakfast and lunch with the Ashram inmates, and after a meaningful experience, we returned to our homes at 4:00 p.m.

Patron Day-2024
On October 20, 2024, the Secular Franciscan Third Order celebrated the feast of their patron, St. Francis of Assisi during the 7:00 a.m. liturgy, followed by a short program in the basement.
Our spiritual guide and parish priest, Fr. Benjamin Pinto, Fr. Chethan SFO, Area Council President Brother Dennis Fernandes, Brother Alwyn Monteiro, Sr. Flany D'Souza, and our SFO members were present.
Urwa SFO President Sr. Celine Alvaris welcomed the gathering. Secretary Sr. Jacinta Saldanha read out the annual report. Program President Fr. Benjamin Pinto delivered the message. Sr. Celine Saldanha delivered the vote of thanks. The program concluded with a brunch.
