Urwa parish with the assistance of Parish Pastoral Council Organized Children’s Day and Catechism Teachers Day on November 24th 2024. The day started with a prayer song followed by welcome speech from Mrs Shanthi Dsouza. After the welcome, entertainment and faith formatted program. Children showcased their talents by class wise performance on the stage. After the entertainment program the catechism teachers entertained the children with a song. Rev Fr Benjamin Pinto, Urwa Parish Priest, addressed the children. Rev Fr Lanson Maxim Pinto, Assistant Parish Priest, Mr Lloyd Lobo, Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs Sylvia Mascarenhas, Secretary Parish Pastoral Council were present. Urwa parish and PPC of Urwa parish recognized the service rendered by the catechism teachers by distributing the mementos. Faye Pais proposed the vote of thanks. Program concluded with prize distribution followed by lunch.
