On the night of December 24th, at 7.00pm, the evening began with joyful Christmas carols performed by our Parish Choir group. The choir led the congregation in singing melodious hymns that celebrated the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The carols filled the church with festive cheer and heartfelt devotion, preparing everyone for the Holy Eucharist.

Rev Fr. Lanson Maxim Pinto, Asst. Parish Priest of Urwa parish, celebrated the solemn Christmas Vigil Mass. In his homily, he reflected on the profound mystery of the Incarnation, emphasizing the message of love, hope, and peace that Christ’s birth brings to the world. The Mass was further enriched by the presence of Rev. Fr Benjamin Pinto, Parish Priest of Urwa and Rev. Fr Henry Sequeira.

The church premises were beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations, stars, lights, and a crib. A large number of participants gathered for the Vigil Mass.

At the end of the Mass, the parish priest, Rev. Fr Benjamin Pinto, expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.
