Jul 31, 2017: The Members of Immaculate Conception ward celebrated their ward’s feast day on 30th July at the Basement Hall. In the morning, the members led the liturgy of the Eucharist and thanked the Almighty for the gift of Mother Mary as their patron.
At 11a.m., the members gathered in the Basement Hall for the get together. The celebration began with the prayer service. A new statue of Mother Mary of Immaculate Conception was blessed by Rev. Fr Stany Pereira and was honoured by all the gathered.
Mrs Anitha Cutinha, ward leader extended cordial welcome to the parish clergy, ward leaders of various wards. Kids as well as adults exhibited their talents in the form of dance, singing and jokes. Games were also conducted by Melanie Cutinha. Kevin Martis was honoured for his selfless service to the Church and the Ward. Melwyn Cutinha proposed the vote of thanks while Kevin Martis compered the entire programme. The ward get together came to an end with the sumptuous meal.
