Jul 24, 2017: All three Church choirs of our parish viz. Konkani Choir, English Choir and Children’s Choir had a refresher course on Liturgical music by famed musician ‘Sangeet Guru’ Mr Joel Pereira on 23rd July, 2017.
Mr Joel dealt all topics connected to Liturgical Music- the history of the Liturgical music, The Church’s understanding and directives on Church Music, Voice Culture, music-notations, use of mikes, playing of musical instruments for liturgical music, singing in voices and every other important details on Church Music. It was really a very useful course from which all Choir members benefited.
