Aug 15, 2017: We are very much saddened by the demise of Mrs Severine D’Souza, the Mother of our parish priest Fr Stany Pereira on 14th August. The funeral mass was held on 15th August at 3:30p.m. at Holy Redeemer’s Church, Belthangadi. Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu and several priests joined Fr Stany in praying for the deceased during the Holy Eucharist. Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Parish Priest preached the homily. The funeral was attended by family members, people from Urwa Parish and from other parishes where Fr Stany rendered his service. All the necessary arrangements were done by Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Parish Priest and Fr Melwyn D’Souza, Ast Parish Priest of Belthangadi.
