Aug 13, 2016: On August 11th Fr Johnson Lawrence Sequeira celebrated his birthday and it was indeed a joyous occasion for the parishioners of Urwa to celebrate the birthday on Sunday, 13th of August. The celebration began with the 7 a.m. Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr Johnson Sequeira and concelebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Stany Pereira and assistant parish priest, Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais. Parishioners offered Prayers for the gift of Rev. Fr Johnson.
A short felicitation programme was organized by the Parish Pastoral Parishad after the Mass. Mr Francis Saldanha, vice president felicitated Fr Johnson with wishing words. It was followed by cutting the birthday cake, melodious birthday song by choir members and felicitating with bouquets of flowers. Rev. Fr Stany Pereira wished him with his kind words. Fr Johnson Sequeira thanked all the people who have made impact on his life. Mrs Lucy D’Souza, secretary compered the whole programme. All wished him with roses and flower bouquets. Cake was distributed to all present.
