Aug 11, 2016: It was indeed a joyous occasion for the parishioners of Urwa to celebrate the birthday of our dear Asst Parish Priest Rev. Fr Johnson Lawrence Sequeira on 11th of August. The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr Johnson Sequeira and concelebrated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr Stany Pereira and assistant parish priest.Fr Nelson Dheeraj Pais. Parishioners and daily Mass goers attended it and offered Prayers for the gift of Rev. Fr Johnson.
A short felicitation programme was organized by the Parish Pastoral Parishad after the Mass. Mr Hilary D’Souza, vice president, welcomed the gathering. Rev Fr Nelson D. Pais, asst parish priest felicitated Fr Johnson with wishing words. It was followed by cutting the birthday cake, melodious birthday song by choir members and felicitating with bouquets of flowers. Fr Johnson Sequeira thanked all the people who have made impact on his life. Rev Fr Stany Pereira also wished him with his kind words. Mrs Jenevive Mathias compered the whole programme. All wished him with roses and flower bouquets. Cake was distributed to all present.
