Nov. 13, 2017: “Children are not things to be moulded but people to be unfolded” This thought became appropriate as Urwa Church celebrated Children’s day at Church premises on Sunday, 12th of November. Celebration of the day began with the Eucharistic Celebration.
Soon after the Mass, the inauguration of the day was done in a creative way. Assistant parish priests congratulated all the children on behalf of the Parish Priest. Thereafter, children were found enjoying themselves in various outdoor games. They danced and sang with each other. Stunning and attractive spot games kept them cheerful till the end of the day. Delicious food and Ice cream enhanced their joy. Some of the children displayed their talents in the form of various cultural programmes in the afternoon. Even the catechism teachers were not behind. They made all children cheerful through their singing and acting.
Parish pastoral Council vice president, Secretary, Superior of Lady Hill convent graced this occasion by their presence. Thanks to ICYM and YCS members for their all-round work towards the success of yet another event of our Church.
