Apr. 4, 2017: The two days’ holiday camp for the children of our parish was organised on the 3rd and 4th of April at the Church Hall. Nearly 90 children from standard 4th to 9th took active part in the camp.
The inauguration of the camp was done in the presence of Rev Fr Stany Pereira, parish priest, Fr Johnson and Fr Nelson, asst parish priests, Mr Francis Saldanha, vice president and Mrs Lucy D’Souza, secretary.
The two days’ camp included sessions on Leadership, Creative Thinking, Magic Show and Art and Craft techniques. Rev Fr Ashwin Cardoza, Rev Fr Paul S D’Souza and Rev Sr Sahaya Mary, AC assisted in conducting the sessions. The children also took active part in various group activities, spot games, quiz, outdoor activities and variety entertainment programme. The youth of the parish helped the assistant parish priests in conducting the children’s camp.
