April 2o, 2019: With Holy/Maundy Thursday on April 18th we began the Paschal triduum at Urwa parish. On this day we commemorated the Last Supper of Jesus with His Apostels and washing the feet of Apostles. The Eucharistic celebration began at 6.30pm. Parish priest Rev Fr Stany Pereira presided over the Holy Eucharist and Rev Fr Jason Lobo concelebrated the Mass. In the homily Rev Fr Stany preached on 'service - to one another and community'. Later Rev Fr Stany washed the feet of 12 youth,six each chosen from YCS and ICYM. During this Eucharist, the Extra-ordinary ministers of Holy Communion renewed their vows. After the communion prayer a procession to the Altar of Repose was held followed by adoration conducted by Rev Fr Jason.
