Dec 31, 2016: The new year celebrations began at 7:00 p.m. with the adoration of the Holy Sacrament, which was very meaningfully conducted by Asst Parish Priest, Fr Nelson Pais.
At 8:00 p.m. New Year festive mass began. Rev. Fr Paul Melwyn D’Souza OFM Cap, Superior of St Anne’s Friary, was the main celebrant. Along with him, Fr Stany Pereira – Parish Priest, Fr Johnson Sequeira, Fr Nelson Pais – Asst Parish Priests & a guest Redemptorist priest concelebrated the Mass.Fr Paul beautifully narrated the Word of God. The church choir enriched the spiritual atmosphere by singing melodiously the meaningful hymns.
After the mass prizes were distributed to the children who won in Christmas card competition, Crib Competition and Star competition. The effort of the Children was widely appreciated.
Icym and ycs members arranged the Housie Housie for all the Parishioners.
