The Parish day was an occasion for parishioners to feel the sense of belongingness. In order to strengthen this belongingness the parishioners ventured into something special –preparing food for the day.
On the loving invitation of the parish priest, parishioners flocked in big numbers to the basement hall at 9.30 am bringing along with them knives, sickles, cutting boards, etc. not to wage a war but to prepare a delicious dinner. It was a nice sight to see these volunteers joyfully working at the vegetables and meat, singing, laughing and enjoying every moment of time spent to make parishioners happy with a good dinner. with a good dinner.
