Sept 10,2023 :The Parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church Urwa, gathered in the church premises to celebrate the family feast on Sunday 10th September. The celebration began at 3.00 p.m. Class wise fun and lucky games were conducted for the children. Parishioners participated in various games with zeal and enthusiasm. Food stall was arranged by Catholic Sabha and ICYM members.

Soon after the fun games Parishioners gathered in the church hall for a cultural programme. The programme began with a prayer song by Ladyhill Convent Sisters. Rev. Fr. Johnson Pereira welcomed the gathering. The programmes like dances, skit, comedy play entertained the audience.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions. Parish Priest Rev Fr. Benjamin Pinto gave the message. Parish Priest along with Fr. Johnson Pereira, PPC President Mr. Lloyd Lobo, secretary Mrs. Sylvia Mascarenhas, convener of 21 commissions Mr. Kevin Martis, superior of Lady hill convent and ward gurkars offered flowers to Infant Mary. Payasam (vorn) mixed with blessed corn was served to the Parish community.
